Counselling Centre for Integration of Foreigners in the Ústí nad Labem Region
The Center for Support of Integration of Foreigner project, funded from the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals, follows from the government document “Concept of Integration of Foreigners” which defines main objectives of the integration policy. The goal of the Center of for Support of Integration of Foreigners is:
- Creating conceptual and long-term integration policy within the Ústí nad Labem Region, communication with other regions
- Minimising the creation of closed centres of communities of immigrants
- Eliminating the social isolation and social segregation of foreigners
- Inclusion of foreigners in the society, their co-habitation with the majority
On 1 April 2009 the “Centrum cizinců” (Center of for Support of Integration of Foreigners) was launched in the Ústí nad Labem Region. It is operated by the Poradna pro integraci, o.s. , a civic association (Counselling Centre for Integration). A contact point in Teplice is Lingua centrum, Kapelní 1, 1st Floor. The Counselling Centre is open every Tuesday from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. hod.
