Public Courses

GUARANTEE OF TRIAL LESSONS

In case of cancellation of attendance in the course after the first lesson, the course fee is refunded in full.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

The following cancellation conditions apply to all courses: if you disenrol from the course in its first half (or the first half of each term), the cancellation fee is 50% of the course fee after deducting the lessons already taught.  If you disenrol from the course in its second half (or the second half of each term), i.e. after 50% of the lessons taught, the course fee is no longer refunded.

DISENROLMENT

The course fee is not refunded for missed lessons by the student. Irregular attendance or prolonged absence does not apply as disenrollment.

If you no longer want to continue your studies at our language school and you have not yet paid the course fee for the next term, please cancel your attendance in the course by phone, e-mail or in person at the office of our language school. If you have already paid the course fee, fill in a written request for refund of the course fee at the school office. The course fee will be refunded to you, after deducting the cancellation fees (see above), within 14 calendar days from the date of submission of the written request.

Refund of the course fee can be requested only on the basis of a written request; the form can be picked up by the student at the school office.

Upon termination of attendance in the course for serious health reasons, the applicant is refunded the entire amount on the basis of a written request and a medical certificate after deducting the lessons already taught.  Medical reasons mean incapacity for work or hospitalization longer than 2 weeks, or reasons that would prevent students from attending the course (quarantine, fractures, infectious diseases, etc.).

Post-Secondary Studies

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

In case of cancellation of attendance in the course due to admission to university or failure to pass the school-leaving examination, the student will not be charged a cancellation fee. Demonstrable evidence must be provided in writing.

If attendance in the course is cancelled for other reasons, the course fee will be refunded after deducting the contractual cancellation fees.

Irregular attendance or prolonged absence does not apply as disenrolment. The day of cancellation of attendance is considered to be the day when the student submits a written request in person at the school office. The student shall immediately report this fact to their insurance company. If the study is cancelled for serious health reasons (hospitalization longer than 8 weeks), the course fee is refunded in full after deducting the lessons taught.
